Miss Ellen, a California Girl

It's nice to knit something that fits instantly when you're 5 months pregnant! haha

Well, I finished my own Miss Ellen! I just love how easy this stitch pattern is to remember and pick up whenever...and the finished product when blocked is perfect. I worked this one in "California Love," a colorway of Zen Yarn Garden's Serenity DK line that was dyed exclusively for the Yarnover Truck. For those who are unaware of said truck, it's like a bookmobile or food truck, only it's a yarn store that travels around southern California. Awesome! I have to say, the two skeins I used were a bit different and the switch is really obvious, however, it is still GORGEOUS. This isn't the sort of project where that matters. Plus, half the fun of this yarn is how amazing it feels and how beautifully it drapes. Highly recommended.
